When you hear sweet music,
Soft and low
You can swing it right,
Swing it left
Swing all around
And do the hula lōlō

There's a sweet brown maiden,
Whose penei no
She can swing it right,
Swing it left
Swing all around
And do the hula lōlō

Chorus:
When the moon is shining in Hawaiʻi
You can dance to the strains of
Alekoki, Anapau, Liliʻu E

If you don't believe me,
You can go
Where they swing it right,
Swing it left
Swing all around
And do the hula lōlō
